What does it mean to be an Entrepreneur?
What exactly gives you the title of "Entrepreneur"?
Well...
FIRST - I would like to mention that I don't like putting myself and anyone else in a box - to stick a label to it, because in the end that DOES NOT define our worth...
You could be an entrepreneur full time, on your own mission; OR you could be an entrepreneur working for someone else - ALL IS RELEVANT as I always say...
SECOND - Entrepreneurship is a true passion of mine, and I see myself as an entrepreneur and business woman.
That being said - ANYONE can be an entrepreneur. I think it's not about what you do, but how you do things. And an entrepreneur is someone that takes risks, thinks for himself, and takes responsibility for what he has been given. In any environment. Especially if you can make it work and you have the AMBITION and DETERMINATION to reach a certain goal. So you could have one job or business, or several jobs and businesses...
For some people, entrepreneurship is a scary concept - and it shouldn't be. In the end it is about what your dreams and goals are, and your passions in life - and then working hard and constantly praying to get there. Consistency, Creativity, etc - that is what it means to be an entrepreneur. Don't worry about what people say or think...
The other day I realised something amazing - can you guess who was the very first entrepreneur? God!
He is the very image of entrepreneurship - He had a plan, a vision, and He CREATED the world, with us in it. We on the other hand have the responsibility to create with Him. That's why we have unique talents, dreams, wishes, personalities. We're not His puppets, but rather creatives with our own free will - and we need to realise our potential and the plans God has for each and every one of us... And you need to work with Him to discover that.
Remember that this is only my experience of being an entrepreneur, my "framework" if you will - and that I would love to hear what you think of ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
